The Enviro Group and its associates combined have over 60 years in the environmental field, consulting with other multinational corporations regarding safety issues and pollution minimization, along with prevention and remediation strategies. In Europe, The Enviro Group has been actively involved in bioremediation engineering and R&D activities for remediation of contaminated land, particularly in Greece and Italy. The large number of natural attenuation municipal landfills present in these Mediterranean countries has caused acute problems for the local and national authorities. Groundwater and soil contaminated by leaking landfills is a major exposure threat for a large percentage of Europe's population. The Enviro Group has developed an innovative bioremediation technology, which accelerates the environmental recovery of a landfill.
In addition, The Enviro Group is currently introducing into the European market its own custom made analytical mobile laboratories. These laboratories are fully self sustained and can be operated in almost any situation. They have a variety of uses, including site characterization, atmospheric monitoring, and identification of pollution sources. The mobility of these laboratories provides enormous flexibility to study remote and targeted areas.
For the past two years, one of the focuses of The Enviro Group has been the environmental market of Southeast Europe. It is currently working on various critical environmental projects in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. The Enviro Group collaborates closely with organizations such as, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, the World Bank, the U.S. Export-Import Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
